Attendance to City Gates goes beyond our Sunday Services. The church recognises the importance of forming healthy relationships with one another. Connect Groups offer you the opportunity to meet with others, in a relaxed homely environment, enabling you to form friendships for times of fellowship and personal support. These groups facilitate Biblical teaching, worship and prayer in a secure and welcoming atmosphere. There are many Connect Groups in various locations throughout Essex and London.

We’re so glad you’ve shown an interest in getting plugged into our community. This is the first step in being placed in a physical group and will give you a chance to meet new people as well as the opportunity to be known by our leaders.

How do Groups work?

First we’d love to place you within an open online connect group. This is the first step in being placed in a physical group and will give you a chance to meet new people as well as the opportunity to be known by our leaders. You’ll spend time studying the Bible and praying with other people too. After a period of time you will then be placed into a physical connect group in a location near to you.

City Gates Church is truly committed to promoting a safer environment for people to feel safe and looked after.   We need our Online & home Groups, to be a safe place, so if you, choose to sign up, you must agree to participate in your group in a manner that upholds this commitment. If you complete this form, you are giving consent that you wish for your phone number to be contacted by a City Gates connect group leader.
